HDCP 2.x Transmitter
Design IP
Overview

SmartDV’s HDCP 2.x Transmitter IP is a silicon-proven solution built to deliver secure transmission of ultra-high-definition content across HDMI, DisplayPort (DP), and Embedded DisplayPort (eDP) interfaces. Fully compliant with HDCP 2.x specifications, it incorporates advanced security features such as session key exchange, locality checks, and digital rights enforcement to protect premium content in high-bandwidth environments.

Designed for flexibility, the IP core is highly configurable to meet specific design requirements, supporting both ASIC and FPGA implementations while optimizing for area, power, and performance. It is the ideal solution for content protection in 4K/8K displays, streaming devices, infotainment systems, and next-generation SoCs.
